Student participation in our project is more than welcome. After receiving the results of our survey, there will be a large amount of both qualitative and quantitative data available, regarding family caregivers' mental and physical wellbeing, their environment, as well as their participation in social service. Therefore it is ideal for students to take part in the project by doing their final thesis in one of the above mentioned areas. Students can join the project during autumn 2010 or spring 2011. Students would mainly be responsible for collecting the qualitative data through interviews.
Student participation would include following tasks:
- Participation in training for interviews
- Assisting in doing phone interviews with family caregivers using a web-based survey software
- Participating in caregivers' education courses
- Collecting research material for their own examination
